I love the smell of new electronics!
The fireplace has a very high mantel, so I used a moveable mount, allowing the TV to be lowered for a more comfortable viewing angle from the couch. The TV is anchored with four 8 inch lag bolts, deep into the studs behind the rock.
Three bedrooms with three TV’s and Sonos speakers, mounted below each TV. Everything wall mounted with cabling hidden behind for a clean, yet adjustable, look.
The standard media box (white panel) doesn’t have much room and isn’t secure. I added a wall mount rack that provides a secure, steel, and vented means of mounting the network equipment. A UPS, switch, router, and ISP modem are all installed within the rack.
The new rack allows for a clean cable installation. Everything labeled and organized for easy maintenance or additions.
